This week in Camodia, a judge heard the case of a woman accused of murdering her two nieces.

When arrested she was found in possession of the gold earrings of one of her nieces.

The prosecution argued that the woman had lured her two nieces into the jungle on a pretence of having a picnic, whereupon she murdered the young pair for the earrings.

A novel twist on babes in the wood perhaps.

In her defence, the Cambodian woman argued that while in the jungle, a demon spirit possessed one of her nieces and turned her into a black tiger, who then killed her sister and set upon the fearful and defenceless woman.

To save herself from being killed by the foul minion of demonkind, the defendant bashed it's brains in and kept the earrings for posterity.

The judge said 'Bollocks' and sent her to life imprisonment.

its judges like that that give a black eye to the whole court system.

doubtful he would have believed the insurgents' explanation about falloujah turning into a vast lake whenever americans overflew it. or the giant spiders attacking gis at night. for sure he would have outright rejected the prevailing rumor among the insurgents that the real reason the us troops pulled out was the appearance of three or four knights on white horses, dressed all in white who were 100% bulletproof.
